Not everyone who enters the industry makes it big as an actor. While some succeed and make their mark, others just end up losing their self. There are also actors who start off all big, and we expect them to become the next superstars but soon their charm (and talent) fizzles out. But what happens to them after that? Well, we tried to find out! So, here is a list of prominent actors that we don’t see in the limelight anymore lost and we wonder where they are now!
1. Antara Mali
Antara Mali is the daughter of Jagdish Mali and made her debut with the movie Dhoondte Reh Jaoge in 1998. She did a couple of movies after that like Company and Darna Mana Hai. Her last Bollywood movie was Mr and Miss in 2005 and since then she has been completely away from the limelight!
2. Mamta Kulkarni
Mamta Kulkarni debuted in the movie Tiranga in 1992. She did a lot of movies after that with one of the most popular Bollywood biggies. She completely fled the country after her last controversy involving a drug racket in 2016. She is rumoured to be in Kenya after all this.
3. Kim Sharma
Kim Sharma made her debut with one of the most popular banners, Yash Raj Films in 2000 with Mohabatein. She did a couple of more Bollywood movies until she resorted to the South Indian film industry which didn’t work in her favour too. She has not been seen since her Yuvraj Singh dating controversy!
4. Tanisha Mukherjee
Kajol’s younger sister Tanisha first appeared in Sssshhh… in 2003 and then in Neal N Nikki. She was recently seen in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013 and has only been seen at public events alongside her sister since then.
5. Gracy Singh
We know her from her role in Lagaan as Gauri and then her role in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. She has later starred in a few Malayalam movies and a few Punjabi movies but we have not spotted her after her last role in Santoshi Maa in the TV series in 2015.
6. Tanushree Dutta
A recipient of the Femina Miss India Universe title in 2004, she debuted in Aashiq Banaya Aapne in 2005. Even though her first movie was a super hit, we didn’t see her in many films after that.
7. Bhumika Chawla
Bhumika Chawla kickstarted her career in the industry with Telugu movies. She was then seen opposite Salman Khan in Tere Naam in 2003 which was a huge hit. Even though she is seen to be appearing off and on in South Indian films, we have not seen her at any events or parties recently!
