The Ambani house is amidst a sea of celebrations right now. Last night was the Mehendi ceremony of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta and the evening party saw all the biggies from Bollywood in attendance. Today, is the grand engagement party. Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan along with wife Gauri Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherjee, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Sachin Tendulkar have already arrived at the Ambani house to be a part of their celebrations. 1. Shloka Mehta
Shloka is wearing a bespoke Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla heavily embroidered pre-wedding ensemble in pale gold with an absolutely stunning kamarbandh studded with diamonds, emeralds and rubies and that’s making her waist look svelte. Isha Ambani’s gone with a soft pink lehenga and dazzling with a diamond choker, chandelier earrings and a maang tikka. AJSK are a go-to designer duo for the Ambani family and it’s no surprise that the designers have dressed not only both brides to be but also Shloka’s sister Diya Mehta Jatia.
2. Nita Ambani
Not only the Bachchans, but the Ambanis adore Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s creations too. Akash’s mom Nita Ambani looks a stunnner in a heavily embroidered maroon saree draped in traditionally Gujarati style. She finished her looks with gorgeous kundan and pearl jewellery.
3. Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan
SRK has gone with a bespoke suit from Masculine Official; while Gauri Khan’s looking rather larger than life in a Falguni and Shane Peacock gown, styled by Shaleen Nathani.
4. Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherjee
Ranbir Kapoor perhaps didn’t want to fuel the media frenzy over his relationship with Alia, and hence arrived with bestie Ayaan Mukherji. Both are looking dapper, although Ranbir’s channelling a rather casual “I know I look so good that I don’t have to dress up” look.
5. Karan Johar
Karan Johar’s gone with his beau Manish Malhotra’s design — a spicey red sherwani with detailing on the sleeves and an unusual cravat style collar.
6. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt’s followed her mentor Karan Johar’s cue and also worn a Manish Malhotra pink handloom saree hand-embroidered in a way that seems to combine traditional Parsi garas and benarasi motifs.
7. Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar arrived at the party wearing coordinating outfits. Anjali is in a red banarasi silk saree matched with a beautiful Polki necklace. Sachin stands next to her in a red kurta paired with gold churidars.

9. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is wearing Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, with earrings from Amrapali, ring and bangles from Anmol Jewellers, styled by Ami Patel. She looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous in this colour, and the drape is flattering with just the right hint of oomph! She’s attending the Ambani engagement with Nick Jonas. We can’t help but wonder if this is the poor guy’s first experience of a big fat Indian wedding!
