The unveiling of the Veere Di Wedding trailer and posters brought with it a wave of excitement. The multi-starrer featuring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, already looks like a blockbuster. After the trailer launch, the hashtag #VeereDiWedding started trending everywhere.
So, amidst all this craziness, Kanika Sasan, a fashion influencer from Vancouver, Canada decided to recreate the Veere Di Wedding poster look with her girlfriends and it’s pretty cool, we have to say! They not only focused on keeping the poses same, but they also replicated the clothes, jewellery, hairstyles and obviously the expressions to a great extent. So, no more waiting, here it is:
Doesn’t it look exactly same? Except for the lehenga colours, be it Swara’s braided hairstyles or even Sonam’s lehenga, it’s pretty much bang on!

About the recreation, Kanika said:
“I thrive on all things fashion and bollywood. I specialize in translating stories through my fashion creativity and editorials. We did this (recreation of the poster) to give a tribute to the movie in our own little way.”
Well, it was an awesome tribute we must say! And if the stars of the movie come across this beautiful gesture, I’m sure even they will love it!
