It’s a myth that once you step into motherhood your physique goes downhill. Kareena Kapoor isn’t just a rockstar mommy, she’s also one of the best B-town actresses in the country. Apart from her style and makeup, most of her fans are eager to know the key to Bebo’s abs! Obviously, Kareena is a believer in the ‘no pain, no gain’ philosophy. She works out, follows a diet to the T but is all seen having tons of fun with her looks. If you too have been working on that summer body, you might as well master the art of contouring your abs. Here’s your cheat sheet that can get you Bebo-like abs in minutes! Let’s start, shall we?
First things first, you’ll need to take your clothes off and expose your abdomen area to avoid staining your outfit with makeup. Put on a sports bra or a crop top after. Then, using your fingers or a foundation brush, apply the foundation to your abdomen. Spread the product and blend it well on your skin. Before you move on to the next step, you’ve got to make sure that the foundation has dried up. One way to check is to touch your tummy using your finger. If the area is moist, wet and shiny, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. You can only move on to the next step once it gives a matte-like finish.
Step 2: Draw A Vertical Line Down Using A Bronzer
The next thing you want to do is suck your tummy in. This will help you get a better idea of where your muscles are located. Then, press your brush into the powder bronzer to gather more product. Start by drawing a straight line from below your chest area all the way to your belly button. Don’t make the line too dark or it will look unnatural and fake. Remember to always pick a shade that’s two shades darker than your skin tone.
Step 3: Follow It Up With A Pointed Arrow
You aren’t just done yet. Flex your abdomen and draw a pointed arrow with a powder brush at the top of the straight line. It needs to look like the roof of a house. Pay attention here - the arrow needs to look dark. Keeping that in mind, use a little more bronzer.
Step 4: Draw 2 Vertical and Horizontal Lines After
Depending on how many packs you want to draw, plan your contouring based on that vision. If it’s a 6 pack, draw two inward slanting parallel lines and make sure that it connects with the two horizontal lines.
Step 5: To Blend The Lines, Use A Powder Brush
Once you’ve drawn all the lines, use a powder brush to blend the product. You may use an up-and-down stroking motion or stick to a side-to-side motion. Gently blend the lines in without putting too much pressure on the brush. If the lines appear too dark, don’t stress out. You don’t have to redo it again! Just apply some pressed powder of the lines to lighten the shade up.
Step 6: Top It Off With Some Powder Highlighter
Now for the final touch-up, ladies, cover your crease brush or finger with some powder highlighter and gently fill the boxes where your muscles are located. You can blend using either side-to-side or circular motions. If you’re still not satisfied with the results, you can add more bronzer or highlighter powder to fetch you Bebo-like abs.
