There’s no stopping Indians when it comes to hosting the grandest, most awe-inspiring weddings of all times. And when the bride-to-be is infrastructure magnate GVK Reddy’s granddaughter Shriya Bhupal, just saying that the celebratins were grand would be a huge understatement. Shriya got engaged to Anindith Reddy, grandson of the chairman of Apollo hospitals C Pratap Reddy in April this year.
The engagement was a private affair, with only close relatives and families of the couple present. But celebrations were long overdue for both the Reddy clans and thus they decided to make it large. Anindith and Shriya along with their friends and families flew to Paris for a fairytale pre-wedding bash. The wedding will be held this year on July 6 in Hyderabad. About the fancy pre-wedding party, a source close to the families revealed:
“The families of both the groom and bride wanted this (the engagement) to be an intimate affair, so they kept all the celebrations up to now very low key. Shriya and Anindith were engaged back in April. It was a very small lagna patrika and engagement ceremony at home, where the priests and the grandparents blessed the young couple. The pre-wedding bash in Paris was something we’ve been looking forward to because a big celebration was long overdue.”
The lavish event was hosted at the historic Château de Chantilly, just a little ahead of Paris. Friends and family flew to the exotic location and the celebrations took place over a few days. Shriya’s girl gang also threw an adorable bachelorette for her, while Anindith partied away with his boys.
The masquerade ball themed pre-wedding bash that took place on May 26 took the cake. Shriya looked like she stepped out of a red carpet event in her gorgeous and extravagant red Giambattista Valli gown. Her makeup was done by celebrity MUA Namrata Soni and the photographers for the event were Joseph Radhik and his team.
Anindith looked dapper in a black tuxedo and the two made for a stunning couple. Well, we can only imagine that if the pre-wedding bash was so grand, just how royal the wedding will be!
