Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju is turning out to be the most-awaited film of the year and the credit for the movie’s popularity goes to the choices Sanjay Dutt has made in his lifetime. His life has always been in headlines. This film doesn’t require any promotional strategies to make the story popular as it’s based on the true accounts of Sanjay Dutt’s life. People have loved and admired Sanju Baba for his courage and now its time for everyone to see his side of the story in the movie.
The audience including Bollywood can relate to Sanju more than any other character the Indian film industry has brought forth on the big screen and hence its hard to wait for the movie’s release on 29th June this year. While we are still waiting for tomorrow to see the expectedly-intense trailer of Sanju, Rishi Kapoor has already had his proud moment with his son’s fine performance. Director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra decided to show the trailer to Ranbir’s father before its release to the world and I have to say, I’ve never seen Rishi Kapoor so excited.
The actor was overwhelmed with emotions after watching the trailer. He said, “The way Rajkumar Hirani has presented Ranbir is the biggest superb thing, the boy has really done well. I am so proud of him. I swear on Neetu and Ranbir, I did not think it was Ranbir, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt.”
He added, “You don’t know how emotionally triggered I am right now at the point where Vinod (Chopra) and Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) have shown me this trailer. The first appearance of Ranbir from the jail, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt.”
After praising his son, Rishi Kapoor jokingly said, “I shouldn’t praise him so much, he’s good and still got to improve, and still got to do good work. I love you my boy (Ranbir)”.
He might seem like a strict father but at this moment, he’s #fathergoals.
I feel this is the cutest moment of Rishi Kapoor I have ever seen.
