1. Dil Diyan Gallan, Tiger Zinda Hai
One of the most popular Bollywood songs these days, Dil Diyan Gallan is shot in The Alps, Austria. Director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “The biggest highlight in this song is the unique Katrina portrait that Salman has drawn on a frozen lake. We had to source natural colours, as ice doesn’t catch all kinds of paints, which didn’t come easy. But once we got hold of this, he created a huge 20 feet by 20 feet portrait that features Katrina’s face.”
2. Gerua, Dilwale
Gerua has been shot entirely in Iceland. An unconventional destination for sure, Rohit Shetty took the crew to Black Beach and picturised the song next to a plane that crashed there in 1973. Order some sarees online and you can recreate the magic in real life on your next trip!
3. Ude Dil Befikre, Befikre
Shot across multiple locations in Paris, Ude Dil Befikre has some locations that are never seen before in movies such as Opera Garnier. A source said that they shot on the terrace of Opera Garnier for the mesmerising background. He added that only four people were allowed to go to the terrace, including the lead pair.
4. Khaabon Ke Parinday, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Shot in Seville, Spain, Khaabon Ke Parinday is the perfect road trip song. Surrounded by nature, bright sunflowers, the sea, and with the wind in their hair, it makes you feel the true sense of tranquillity and bliss. And makes you want to run to Spain, too.

5. Jiya Re, Jab Tak Hai Jaan
As Anushka Sharma dances on shikaras, runs across mountains and has a fun time with the locals, you see the simplicity and beauty of Kashmir. Shot across multiple locations in Kashmir including the lush green grasslands and the Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jiya Re sure is a happy song that’ll grip your mood for the good.
6. Subhanallah, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Even though the film says Manali, the entire sequence is shot in Gulmarg, Kashmir (apart from the temple and the Span Resort & Spa where Ranbir Kapoor and the gang camp on their Manali trip). The picturesque location and ‘haseen vaadiyan’ feel of the song, Subhanallah, is the result of the beautiful Pahalgam, Kashmir. Enjoy the snow with your snowflake on your next vacay.
7. Sau Aasmaan, Baar Baar Dekho
Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra’s honeymoon song from the movie will take you to Thailand in the most poetic way. This song is filmed at the roads of Patong area, Phranang caves and the stunning island of Krabi, making it a musical and visual treat for us.

This place has been on my bucket list for almost a decade now. Meherbaan is shot in Santorini, Greece, a cult tourist spot for its unique white and blue buildings, juxtaposed against the bright blue sea. It’ll transport you from your phone’s screen to the by-lanes of the iconic city in a jiffy.
10. Chaar Kadam, PK
When I first saw the video, I was taken to the city of Bruges, Belgium, and it’s beautiful bridge crossings over the canals. Did you know, Bruges is often called the ‘Venice of the North’ for this reason? Talking about the location of Chaar Kadam, Rajkumar Hirani stated, “I was spellbound by the picturesque architecture, landscapes, the strong historical background and clean refreshing environs.”
11. Titli, Chennai Express
This song will take you on a tour to South India, thanks to its multiple locations in and around Tamil Nadu and Kerala. While most part of the song is shot in a village, almost all of the wallpaper-worthy shots are from the tea gardens of Munnar, Kerala. Banke titli dil uda, uda, uda hai, kahin door…

Dancing all around the city of Prague, Czech Republic, Harry (SRK) and Sejal (Anushka Sharma) will make you want to pack your bags and get lost in this dreamy city which is a delight for backpackers, honeymooners and families alike.
13. Ishq Wala Love, Student Of The Year
Much like Subhanallah, Ishq Wala Love has also been shot in the snow-capped valleys of Gulmarg, Kashmir. The pink tree, the huge mirror and other beautiful props just added to the scenery much like the actors’ colourful costumes. Did you know Alia Bhatt, who was 19-years-old when SOTY was being shot, fainted twice during the shooting of the song in snow? Overall, she reportedly fainted 14 times as she was suffering from cold and fatigue!
14. Khuda Jaane, Bachna Ae Haseeno
Khuda Jaane, one of the iconic romantic songs of the century, is shot in Puglia, Italy. A dream for those who love sunkissed beaches, soft sand, and the azure skies, the song gives you the right feels even when you’re listening to it without the video.
15. Teri Ore, Singh Is Kinng
The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt is the the backdrop to this Rahat Fateh Ali Khan song. Even after a decade of its release, the romantic number is still on our mind.
16. Jaane Kyun, Dil Chahta Hai
Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta are arguing the pros and cons of falling in love in this song, and you can see them walk to different locations in Sydney, Australia. And who can forget the stunning views of the city during the song when they go for a helicopter tour?
17. Hairat, Anjaana Anjaani
The beautiful voice of Lucky Ali and the idyllic sunset locations make Hairat the perfect travel song. It was shot in Nevada, Las Vegas, and looks almost like a dream when Priyanka and Ranbir drive on the loop-like road with nothing but the barren land all around (remember the scene where Priyanka changes into her shorts in the back seat of the car?). 18. Sadka, I Hate Luv Storys
You must be thinking, ‘this one has to be shot in Switzerland!’, but you’re wrong. Sadka is shot in Otago, New Zealand, for its fantastic view of The Remarkables (mountain range and skifield) in Queenstown and the golden grass of the Cardona Valley.
19. Main Kya Karoon, Barfi!
Breakfast at Keventers, a walk near the clock tower, a ride on the toy train, and a glimpse of the tea plantations – all you need is a cup of Darjeeling chai and this song playing in the background, and you’ll get all the Darjeeling feels.
20. Tum Hi Bandhu, Cocktail
This is one of those foot-tapping numbers that has been a party favourite since the song came out in 2012. Picturised in Cape Town, on this Maidens Cove Beach, there’s a beautiful view of the Table Mountain and the clear blue waters around.
