By now we all know that Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, entrepreneur Anand Ahuja in the second week of May in Mumbai. What was earlier going to be a grand destination wedding in Switzerland later shifted base to Mumbai, keeping everyone’s convenience in mind.
Now that the wedding is just around the corner, preparations for the biggest Bollywood wedding of the year are in full swing. We already told you where all the wedding functions are taking place, including the sangeet that will be held at The Leela at Sahar. This venue was chosen because the property is owned by Sonam’s friend Samyukta Nair’s family. Well, the news is that a lot of people close to Sonam are preparing dance performances for her sangeet. The list includes cousin Arjun Kapoor, friends Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar among a few others. But we just got to know of one performance which is going to be the most special one – Janhvi Kapoor.
Janhvi will be dancing to her mom Sridevi’s hit numbers Kisi Ke Haath Na Aayegi Ye Ladki and Mere Haathon Mein Nau Nau Choodiyan Hain. We haven’t seen her dance ever, but we just know that Janhvi is going to own the dance floor with her special performance. After all, she is Sridevi’s daughter!
Just a few days back, a video of Sara Ali Khan dancing to Saat Samundar Paar at designer Sandeep Khosla’s niece’s wedding went viral. People could not stop praising Sara for her graceful moves and the way she lit the dance floor with her performance. Seems like Janhvi is about to give her friend some solid competition!
Janhvi is currently busy shooting for her debut movie Dhadak, opposite Ishaan Khattar. But for now, we just can’t wait to see her show off her elegant dance moves at Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. If you are just as excited too, then stay tuned to this space for more!
