We are no strangers to Jacqueline Fernandes and her luscious locks. She has a super lustrous and voluminous mane that we are constantly trying to emulate (with barely any success). So, when we saw her at an event yesterday, her hair grabbed our attention yet again.
Her hairstyle was simple yet so intriguing. Make-up artist Shaan Muttathil had given her BIG messy curls with exaggerated volume at the crown. If you ask us, we were getting major Jessica Rabbit vibes from the whole look.
Get The Look
Start of course with prepping your hair with a heat protectant spray like Wella Professionals EIMI Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray (Rs 675). Also, spray some dry shampoo like BBLUNT Back To Life Dry Shampoo, For Instant Freshness (Rs 495) to your roots for added volume.
Take a thick curling iron, preferably a one-inch wand like this one from Conair (Rs 1,374) and curl your hair in sections. Pin each curl while it cools, so it is more defined.
Once you’re done with all the curls, leave them in pins for about two minutes. Follow it up with some hairspray, our pick is this one from Gatsby (Rs 199).
Let the curls down and try not to run your fingers through them too much.
