The perfectionist of Bollywood has officially become a part of the Instagram family! On his 53rd birthday, Aamir Khan, the man who is known for his brilliant screen presence has finally decided to grace the digiratti (if I may call us that) with a sneak-peek into his private life. And just like with almost every other aspect of his life, Aamir had to make his first post on Instagram perfect, as well. Which is why he decided to dedicate his first Instagram post on the platform to one of the most special women in his life, his mother.
Zeenat Hussain, the actor’s mother can be seen in the picture, captioned “The person because of whom I am who I am…” A heartwarming gesture that is melting our hearts.
In a recent newspaper interview, the actor mentioned, “My birthday plan is always to try and spend time with my mother. This year, as I’m away from home, I’ve requested my director, Victor (Vijay Krishna Acharya), to relieve me for a day. If that happens, I’ll travel to Mumbai to be with my mother. But if it’s not possible then she will come to Jodhpur. She’s the person because of whom I’m in this world, so I want to spend this day with her.”
Being a family man, Aamir has over the years always made it a point to spend his birthday with his near and dear ones, which is why he has returned from the sets of Thugs Of Hindostan to Mumbai to spend the special day with them. We also have a glimpse of his private birthday party where he was seen affectionately kissing his wife, Kiran Rao.
Last year, the actor was quoted saying to a leading newspaper, “My mother gifts me the same thing every year – I love the seekh kebabs that she makes. She prepares the kebabs every year for me.”
Aamir’s relationship with his mother has always been paved with beautiful moments, with her being all-praises about her son. “Every daughter should see the film with her mother. I cried watching the emotional journey. I liked Aamir’s work as he has beautifully portrayed his character,” said Zeenat Hussain while attending the screening of Secret Superstar.
Aamir also added an Instagram story explaining his decision to join the social media website where he already has over 2,89,000 followers within a matter of a few hours of his joining! He also thanked his fans for being there for him through the years.
