9 *Amazing* Destinations In India For Your Bachelorette! (No, Not Goa!)

Your bestie is ready to tie the knot and start a new chapter in her life. But before you see her dressed as a bride, you the bestie should plan the perfect bachelorette party for her. She has been there for you throughout and what can be better than an all-girls vacay before the D-day? So pack your bags and get your girl gang ready, as these destinations in India will make for some happy bachelorette memories. No, we're not including the obvious Goa in this list!

1. Nasik

Let her “whine” away all her wedding stress as you all take a walk through the lush green vineyards. You could even stay at one of their luxurious three bedroom sky-villas that overlook the Gangapur Lake. Don’t forget to take a tour of the vineyards and go for some amazing wine tasting sessions together.

2. Rishikesh

Make it an adventure filled bachelorette and party while you all enjoy river rafting! There are various luxury tents on the foothills of the Himalayas that is also a great spot to host your bachelorette party.

3. Jaipur

Apart from being a heritage location, it has some great hotels and restaurants for all you girls to enjoy and party. The hot air balloon ride and a meal at Choki Dani are not to be missed in the Pink City.

4. Pondicherry

The beaches of Pondicherry are perfect for a relaxing bachelorette sans all the touristy crowd. With beautiful French lanes and architecture, this city is a beach paradise.

5. Andaman & Nicobar Islands

If water sports is your thing, then Andaman and Nicobar Island could be perfect for an adrenaline-fuelled bachelorette. You all can enjoy a moment like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, go for deep sea diving, snorkeling or even scuba diving.

The adventure of living in jungle tents and waking up for an early morning tiger safari would be one hell of a unique bachelorette! Plus, bonfire and barbeque in the night. Perfect!

7. Alleppey

Kerala is an off-beat destination for a bachelorette but it is also one place which never fails to surprise! Go for ayurvedic spa massages, nature walks or just gorge on some yummy food. Great for when you are looking to escape the bustling city life and relax with your friends amidst nature.

8. Ananda, Himalayas

Located in the Himalayas, Ananda is India’s first destination spa which was started in 2000. If you and your girls are craving for a relaxing bachelorette, then Ananda is the place to be. They even offer amazing bridal spa treatments which is something your bride bestie will thoroughly enjoy.

9. Leh & Ladakh

1/2 Let’s talk money and travelling ☺️😊 One of the most frequently asked questions on our social media is ‘how do you finance your travels’. Despite having answered it at great length so many times, we’ll do it again ✨ ✨ We earn every single penny we earn on our travels ourselves. There are no rich parents or magic pills. How? We worked full time jobs in London and saved for full time travelling for 10 years instead of buying a house or car as travel is our priority. But both of us also work full time in travel and we have a host of location-independent jobs that help us earn as we go along. Vid works as a photographer for several travel and hospitality brands, I write for websites and magazines, and both of us work with several tourism boards and brands in our capacity as professional travel bloggers 😊🤗 ✨ ✨ But that’s not what we want to talk about. We want this post to tell you that YOU can do anything you envision if you dare to dream and approach it realistically ☺️😍 I’ll give you our example - Vid and I started travelling as teenagers. At that time we were in university and would scrounge together our allowances and go flashpacking in Asia. Once we moved to London, we would use our salaries to try and travel to a new place each month. It was only AFTER we'd been to 50 countries or so, we started Bruised Passports. ✨ ✨ We worked 10 hour shifts at it everyday alongside our jobs (hello 20 hour work days!), learnt SEO, & the basics of digital marketing. Hundreds of hours were spent garnering a readership on social media and our website. It was a steep learning curve and we learnt many lessons along the way. Finally after over 3 years of doing this, we took the leap to travelling full time. ✨ ✨ Something to remember when you see idyllic photos on the internet is that it took us 8 years of saving and 3 years of blogging alongside full-time jobs to transition to a location independent model of working. Even now when Bruised Passports is five years old, we work longer hours on it than we used to in our jobs ☺️ ✨ ✨ If you’re planning to do something similar, here’s the advice we would give, 4 pointers based on our experiences .... (to be contd ☺️)

Enjoy the beauty of the mountains while you have your girls around you. The best time to visit here is between April and June as the weather is pleasant and perfect for sightseeing.
