Uh-oh. You haven't set your gender on your Google account. We check this to keep for girls only.
To set your gender on Google:
As a 90s kid, I've seen my share of make-up trends that are now irrelevant. Just like stylists frown on matching your bag with your top, matching your make-up with your outfit can often lead to a throwback that you didn't intend to have. At least, that's what I thought till Shilpa Shetty Kundra did what she did.
While shooting for a reality show, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's IG post had me double-tapping in a nanosecond. Sure it could be her waistline or the saree gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock, but look again, and you'll find yourself appreciating her make-up by Ajay Shelker. By matching her make-up to her outfit, she managed to up the ante yet again.
Let's have a closer look, shall we?
It's not an exact match. Her dress may be lavender but her make-up is not. Instead, she further explored the same colour palette. If you look closer at the smokey-eyes, you'll find shades of violet, pink and brown. A pro-tip? Experiment with textures. If you have an event (like Shilpa) or a wedding to attend, opt for a shimmer eyeshadow. For her lips, Shilpa used a darker shade to line her lips and then topped it with a nude pink that complements her skin tone.
Embrace neutrals. If your look, just like Shilpa, has a lot of colours, your base should be more natural and easy-on-the-eyes. On a scale of Anushka on her W-Day to Huda (on any day), she steered more towards the former.
Mind your hair. Unlike the LFW Summer Resort Wear show where Shilpa embraced flowers in her hair, avoid going over the top. Shilpa's hairstylist Sheetal F Khan gave her subtle, cascading waves.
I gotta say, many make-up tricks here. Which of these are you inclined to try?
