And you can meet him as well! Yes, you read that right. February is the month of ‘love’ and it seems like our dream of meeting our biggest crush will finally come true. Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau will be in India next week to meet PM Narendra Modi from February 17 to February 24.
As reported by DNA, Canadian PM said, “More than one million Canadians of Indian origin make the relationship between our two countries a truly special one. I look forward to meeting with Prime Minister Modi, and further strengthening the Canada-India friendship.”
He further added by saying, “Our two countries share much in common, including a commitment to diversity, democracy, freedom, and the rule of law.”
He will be visiting Swaminarayan Akshardham in Ahmedabad, Golden temple in Amritsar and the Taj Mahal in Agra. He will be spending a few days in New Delhi and Mumbai too.
During his visit to India, the Canadian PM plans to meet several Indian leaders from the government as well as businessmen with an aim to strengthen Indo-Canada economic ties.
