The Golden Globe Awards 2018 was an incredible event. The amount of support Time’s Up movement received from Hollywood, is applaudable. As a part of the same blackout, Kendall Jenner caught everyone’s attention in a voluminous tulle dress by Giambattista Valli. Although, fans noticed much more than just Kendall’s dress.
A Twitter user pointed out that it looks like the reality star had acne on her cheeks but Kendall looked beautiful regardless. “Ok but @KendallJenner showing up and strutting her acne while looking like a gorgeous star is what every girl needs to understand,” the fan wrote in her tweet. Kendall responded to her tweet by confirming the pimples and with an encouraging message for basically every girl who is insecure about acne. She wrote, “never let that sh*t stop you!” and we agree!
Acne is more common than you think and because our fave celebrities are human, it happens to them as well, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. You can’t let it get in the way of a night out and Kendall just proved that. She looked stunning even with the small bumps on her cheek. Other Twitter users also praised the supermodel with comments like, “I’m so glad [you] have no shame in something EVERYONE goes through.”
While we applaud Kendall’s strut down the carpet with acne, there are so many celebrities who have had acne and owned it like bosses. Off the top of our head, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Megan Fox are a few celebs that have walked the carpet with zits, in tact. And it didn’t take anything away from them.
Not just Hollywood, but Bollywood’s best including Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, have also had their share of acne. Some have even documented their battle with acne. So cheer up, you’ve got nothing to hide!
