Drinking warm lemon water early in the morning is a practice that’s been around since ancient times! Drinking warm lemon water every morning helps get a healthy glow, boosts digestion as well as your immunity. It elevates your mood, flushes out toxins and may just help promote weight loss. Here’s a quick recipe:
1 glass warm water
Half a lemon, sliced
1 tsp. honey
2 mint leaves
½ inch slice of ginger
Squeeze half a lemon into 1 glass of warm water and drink this first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. Crush the mint leaves and ginger together and toss them into your warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. Strain and enjoy!
