10 ‘Billboard Signs’ At The Women’s March We Want As T-Shirt Slogans

“I think women are scared of feeling powerful and strong and brave sometimes. There’s nothing wrong with being afraid. It’s not the absence of fear, it’s overcoming it and sometimes you just have to blast through and have faith.”

– Emma Watson

As women, all we’ve ever been strictly asked to do, ever since we were little girls who looked up to our elders for guidance, is to speak softly, obey without questioning, sit like a lady, lower our gaze, and never cuss – among so many other Do’s and Don’ts that dictated our every move.

Skipping forward to 2018, the little girls within us now know better than to be told to shut up and sit down, and there’s no stopping our roars, as we take firm and determined steps towards gender equality. We may be smothered, and society will try to impose their inherent patriarchal mindsets on us, but the revolution surges on across the world, and there’s no stopping us now.

A year after millions of people took to the streets to protest the United States President Donald Trump’s inauguration, protestors gathered across cities in the US on 19th January, 2018, to show their solidarity for women’s rights and gender equality.

There were more than 2,00,000 protestors in New York alone, who marched with signs and slogans that were held high with absolute pride by the marchers. These signs are so witty and empowering, we’re totally up for getting them printed on our t-shirts – because why wear our hearts on our sleeves when we can wear our personalities on them instead?

1. And we’re catching fire, baby, try and burn us now!

2. And fight for the Resistance!

3. Oh, snap!

4. Watch me roar!

5. No uterus, no opinion

6. So don’t say we never warned you

7. Preach!

8. And even better than you!

9. *Mic drop*

10. Please try again when you’ve accepted equality, once and for all

On that spirited note, more power to us, ladies!
