Manish Arora Puts His Technicolour Touch To Mumbai With This Street Art Project!

We know that Manish Arora’s work is anything but subtle. He has never held back from expressing his thoughts, and to prove the same, here’s another creation of his in collaboration with St+art India, a foundation that aims to make streets more interactive through the medium of urban art. If you’ve never been convinced by Manish Arora’s vision, his latest art installation titled ‘All We Need is Love’ certainly will do the trick.

His piece that covers Jindal Mansion in Mumbai right now and looks like an explosion of colours, is inspired by his life philosophy of looking at things in a positive way. He was approached by St+art India for the project almost a year back but at that time, the right canvas wasn’t available.

“In a world filled with so much uncertainty, positive messaging becomes extremely important...the installation is about invoking love to people through the vibrant colours,” the designer shared with IANS in an interview.

The installation comes as a result of 6 months of ideating, 35 artisans and 3 months. It’s created with yards of cloth, either hand-embroidered or printed, almost 2400 pieces were put together to create the finished look. The installation is launching tonight! It has added glow-in-the-dark elements and is all about colour, joy and celebration.

He says, “As the year 2017 comes to a close, I wanted people to wrap up the year with optimism and a positive outlook and feeling rather than all the negativity. Hopefully, I get people to stop and think and remember that love and hope surpasses everything.”

What a beautiful thought! Get ready to spread some love, in Manish Arora style.
