Glitter and the holiday season somehow go hand in hand. There hasn’t been a point in my life where a glitter eyeliner hasn’t been my a part of my I-made-an-effort-look. The best part about glitter eyeliner is that you can dress it up or down. You can have a full blown eye make-up look and add to it a gold or silver eyeliner or then just not do anything to your eyes and have a pretty azure glitter one to lift up your look.
Here are my favourite glitter eyeliners for the season and just to have in general as well.
1. Lakme Absolute Shine Line Eyeliner
This eyeliner has a lot of different shades, but what I love most about it is that the colour is equally pigmented and shiny. So while the shimmer does come through, you get a very sharp line while you use it, without going over the line several times.

This one is SO amazing! It’s got EVERY shade that you can think of under the sun, including fuschia and purple! Seriously, get a couple of the unconventional shades and wear them by itself to make your eyes pop.

3. MUA Intense Glitter Eyeliner – Malt Chocolate
I love this brown shade from this range in particular. I use this instead of regular kohl to highlight and lift my eyes along with a glitter twist!

4. M.A.C Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner
If you aren’t an artist or just a clutz like I am, then you might want to get this one instead of a liquid eyeliner. With the same pigmentation and look, this eyeliner pencil will make sure you have complete control over that glitter wing!

5. Avon Extra Lasting Eyeliner – Shimmering Black
For the holiday season just swap out your usual black with this simple and subdued shimmery black.

6. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
Since the time gel eyeliner has made it to the scene, I haven’t used anything else. With the number of shades in this range, you will find your holy grail FOR SURE! And because it’s gel-based, you know the pigment is going to be amazing.

7. C.A.L Los Angeles Color Eyeliner – Blue
Even though I am a little awkward around liquid eyeliner, I am in love with this particular blue eyeliner for its sheer shimmer. I top this over my kohl/eyeliner and it just adds that something extra to my eye look.

8. NYX Professional Makeup Jumbo Eye Pencil – Sparkle Nude
Seriously, this nude has my heart. Who would’ve thought, nude eyeliner with a pearl sheen! But it is just so pretty. Apply a thick line and smudge it out with a cranberry shade and you have a beautiful and easy holiday eye look. Or just use it as a base for your eyeshadow to add a subtle sheen.

9. Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner – Catcall
OK, THIS SHADE! Sorry for the caps but this shade is my one true berry love! It is just the perfect blend of cranberry, mauve and shimmer. This is my Christmas miracle in a bottle. Yup.
