If you are a fashionista, here’s a doll you would absolutely love to get your hands on! There’s no denying that Gigi Hadid looks like a real Barbie all the time, but in February, Gigi and Tommy Hilfiger collaborated on a one-of-kind Gigi Barbie doll that’s just as charming as the model herself. It comes with Gigi’s signature wavy hair, almond-shaped eyes and her unmissable pout. The doll was made as a part of Gigi X Tommy collection but wasn’t available in the market until now.
According to InStyle, the doll is priced at $50, roughly equivalent to Rs 3,225 and will be available at Tommy Hilfiger’s official site, just in time for the holidays. The Gigi Barbie wears a familiar look as well: the navy flag hoodie, shorts and sneakers that Gigi herself wore on the runway at the Tommy X Gigi fashion show in fall 2016.
“I’m so honoured to have my own Barbie, which celebrates an iconic moment in my partnership with Tommy Hilfiger,” Hadid said in a statement. “Seeing the final look of the doll was an amazing experience, and I’m excited to share this really cool creation with fans around the world.”
This certainly isn’t the first time that Mattel, an American multinational toy manufacturing company, has collaborated with a fashion girl to create a Barbie. Recently, Mattel expanded the Barbie horizon by creating hijabi Barbie and a doll inspired by supermodel Ashley Graham. Last year, Bella Hadid posted a picture of a pair of Barbies that looked just like the Hadid sisters duo.
