10 DIY Face Masks For That Bridal Glow – Using Only *Two* Ingredients!

Being a bride-to-be is not easy. You need to manage the never ending wedding preperations, get in shape for the D-day and at the same time, not let any of the stress reflect on your face at all! And to save you from running to the parlour every now and then, we’ve got some easy DIY face masks you can make at home by only using two ingredients that can be found in your very own kitchen. It is that simple! Plus, they are cost effective too… You gotta try them to believe us!

1. Almond & Milk

Soak 3-4 almonds in the morning overnight. Before you hit the bed, mash them with milk and form a paste out of the two ingredients. Apply all over the face and leave it overnight. This mask will not only add an instant glow to your skin but will also make it smoother and even toned.

2. Turmeric & Sandalwood

Haldi (turmeric) and chandan (sandalwood) when mixed together form a mask which not only provides a long lasting glow but can also help cure stubborn acne and pimples.  You’ll have to mix 1 tablespoon of turmeric along with 1 tablespoon of sandalwood. You could add also add some rose water to customize the consistency of the mask according to your need.

3. Tomato & Lemon

Take a tomato and crush it to make a puree out of it. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice to the puree and apple it all over your face. The combination of tomato along with lemon juice would help in removing any tan on your skin and instantly make it brighter. If you have sensitive skin, we advise on diluting the lemon in water to avoid any allergic reactions.

4. Orange Peel & Curd

If you are looking to make a mask that also doubles up as a scrub, then orange peel and curd mixture would be ideal. Just take a few orange peels and after drying them in the sun, grind the peels to make a fine powder. Mix 2 tablespoons of curd to the mixture to form a thick paste. Apply on your face for 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. The Orange peel will add a natural golden glow to your face and also clear out your complexion.

5. Rice & Milk

6. Strawberry & Honey

Strawberries not only taste great but also do wonders to your skin. To accentuate your pre bridal glow, mash 6-10 fresh strawberries in a blender along with 1 teaspoon honey. Apply this mask on your face for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water, followed by washing your face with cold water and see the magic!

7. Honey & Milk

8. Eggs & Almond Oil

No, it doesn’t smell bad! Just beat 1 egg till it is completely frothy and then add 5-6 drops of almond oil to it. Mix both the ingredients and apply it evenly on your face. This mixture is known to give an instant glow and shine to your face within its first application! And if you are still bothered by the smell, we advise you add some drops of essential oil of your choice.
