Chiara Ferragni, an Italian businesswoman and blogger hit the #1 spot on Forbes’ Top Influencer list in the fashion category. Yes, she’s the one. Her list of achievements is SO impressive. Known as The Blonde Salad, she found massive success with her footwear and accessories line - Chiara Ferragni Collection. The brand’s revenue had reached a staggering $20 million last year. The blogger turned designer was the focus of a Harvard Business School case study. She has collaborated with a myriad of fashion and beauty brands, ranging from Guess to Versace and Pantene. And all of it clearly did not just happen...she must be doing something right.

The 30-year-old has 10.4 million Instagram followers and 355K Twitter followers. “I think influencers right now are the new media,” Ferragni said in her interview.




Forbes partnered with influencer analytics firm Traackr to measure each social media star’s reach, resonance and relevance and with a social insight platform, Captiv8 who calculated each influencer’s potential for earnings per post as per the size of their following. And that’s how the magazine decided that Chiara was the top fashion influencer.
