NYX Professional Makeup is one of my favourite beauty brands. I think I love the brand so much because of its adorable packaging and variety of shades to choose from. A couple of months ago, I happened to indulge in a little bit of online shopping. That’s when I found the shade I’ve always wanted. The packaging was similar to that of Kylie Lip Kit and its texture was matte too. I knew I wanted it, but I was too skeptical to buy it. I was worried that it wouldn’t match my skintone and did not want to make an unnecessary splurge. So, I decided to keep it on hold.
Being a Beauty Writer, one of my roles is to attend cool beauty events and exciting product and brand launches. I remember attending a NYX Media Masterclass with International Make-Up Artist, Roshar, at Inorbit Mall, Malad, Mumbai. The class was informative, fun and interactive. After the event, I randomly strolled around the store and ogled at all the products that were on display. That’s when I stumbled upon the NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick range. I fell in love with this one shade called ‘Teddy’. It’s the perfect kind of brown that I’ve been looking for. It’s not sticky, but glides like butter on your lips. Leave the glossy liquid to dry for about 10 seconds and it turns into matte. As luck would have it, it was the exact shade that I’d seen online earlier!

Every time I apply this lipstick, people take notice. A few of them have also asked me whether I’m wearing a Kylie Jenner Lipstick. Come to think of it, this shade not only has the same texture as hers, but also makes a killer Kylie Lip Kit dupe. I usually wear this shade for night occasions because it looks grand and attractive.
