One of the biggest weddings of the year is just around the corner and we’re really excited about it. South superstars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and her long-time boyfriend, Naga Chaitanya are all set to tie the knot early next month in a grand ceremony in Goa. The lovely bride-to-be just revealed the deets of what her wedding lehenga may look like and ever since, we haven’t been able to keep calm.
Before we get to the lehenga, we want you to recall Samantha’s engagement saree by Kresha Bajaj that made heads turn because it had their love story woven into it. Here’s a glimpse of her beautiful saree!
Now coming to the lehenga, Samantha’s designer friend Kresha Bajaj recently launched her bridal couture ‘The @KOECSH Lovestory 2.0’ and well, who other than her bestie Samantha to be the muse.
Samantha just shared pictures of Kresha’s latest creation and revealed: “If there is one person I know who has all the talent all the sass all the beauty with her heart in the absolutely right place it is my doll of a friend Kresha Bajaj. Her love story lehengas are straight out of a fairy tale and if there is anyone I would trust for my wedding it would be her and so I have.”
The designer herself seemed very enthusiastic about designing it. Her brand’s Instagram handle also confessed her excitement by captioning an image – “When @kreshabajaj was designing her wedding lehenga, she knew it would be something she would only wear once. So, she decided to make it a piece of artwork that she would later frame. In order to make it into a special piece of art she decided to embroider her entire lehenga with her Lovestory – their milestones, the proposal, and all their important moments up until the wedding. That is how the Lovestory Lehenga came into existence!” Of course, when the love is so deep, the outfit has to be very special!
Here’s how it was done – each piece was crafted using a combination of aari and zardosi embroidery techniques and personalized to incorporate milestones and special details of the couples love story. Can you spot any of the hidden embroidered details?
