Durga Puja Pandals You NEED To Visit Before Navratri Ends!

It’s already Ashtami and if you haven’t attended Durga Puja or Pujo yet, it’s time you head to one of the many pandals in Delhi or Mumbai that rival the celebrations in Kolkata. These pandals have been a part of the cities’ celebrations for a long, long time now and capture the essence of all things Bengali perfectly. With lip smacking food, festive spirit that’ll instantly put you in a good mood and well-dressed people around, who would want to give it a miss? You have two more days – Maha Nabami and Vijayadashami to make plans and have a lot of fun!

In Delhi

1. Safdarjung Enclave

While we all know about the multiple pandals in CR Park but did you know there are pandals in Safdarjung Enclave as well. South Delhi people, rejoice!

2. Kali Bari

The Pujo at Kali Bari is one of the oldest in Delhi and the rituals have remained unchanged since 1936. They follow the traditional style of pujo and it’s highly revered amongst Delhi Bongs.

3. Minto Road

4. Kashmere Gate

Kashmere Gate is the oldest Durga Pujo in Delhi and the celebrations, like the one in Kali Bari, are extremely traditional so as to not compromise on the culture!

1. Powai

Powai is where all the magic happens in Mumbai. This one is known for the structural grandeur of the pandal. Each year the pandal promotes a lost form of art in India and this year the pandal will showcase ‘Raibeshe’.

2. North Bombay

This is where you’re likely to run into Kajol or Rani and others from Mukherjee family serving bhog to the devotees. Bollywood celebs can also be seen performing here. SO fun!

3. Chembur
