Dove has time and again championed the raw and unadulterated notion of beauty as opposed to what society has created. Its latest addition to the list is Real Beauty Productions alongside Shonda Rhimes as they discover and share stories of real women and what they perceive as beautiful.
Shonda Rhimes is the creative mind behind Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, Princess Diaries 2 and many more. The campaign, has been launched at the same time as the Emmy’s to support women offscreen as well. Asking regular women what they perceive as beautiful, Dove and Shonda show stories of real women, as they celebrate their wins against the society. Diana with her prosthetic leg and steel will, Kylee with her inner strength to empower women who feel different and Cathleen’s stand on loving your body – Dove manages to connect with us all.

The initial set off videos shares the story of three such women – Diana, Kylee and Cathleen.
