And yes, we are talking about that Barbie, the one that was in your playhouse years ago or probably still is. She’s a street style star, an accomplished businesswoman and a writer as well. Recently, Coveteur explored Barbie’s style a bit more with a sneak peek into her closet and an interview. This summer, Barbie collaborated with macaron mecca Ladurée on a book, The Art of @BarbieStyle, which was about, as the name suggests, Barbie’s personal style.
When asked about her inspiration for the book, Barbie shared with Coveteur, “I’ve always been obsessed with fashion as it’s the ultimate form of self-expression. I’ve been lucky enough to share my passion on my @BarbieStyle Instagram channel, where I share all of my stories and inspiration with all of my followers—and now to bring it to print is the ultimate dream!” We can never get enough of Barbie, so we took a fair look at her closet and her interview again and again and then, once again! It’s a visual treat.
Her dog’s name is Miss Honey, just FYI.
So when asked about her fashion regrets, her response was SO Barbie! “No regrets, that is the fun with fashion! I love that I can look back at all of my looks and see a reflection of the fashion trends of that time,” she declared in her wise words.
