People have varied opinions when it comes to arranged marriages; they work out, they don’t work out, people fall in love, they don’t – among a lot of other things. But, here we have this amazingly adorable couple, who have proved that an arranged marriage can sometimes be the best thing to happen to you. And that cutesy duo is none other Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava.
So, just to give you a heads up, these two got married in a very quick ceremony which was only attended by their close industry friends and family. It was their families and their mutual friend Aly Goni who played matchmakers between them. And, by their own admission, it was the awesomest thing to happen to them.
Ankita and Karan are #marriedcouple goals, for real! They got married without knowing each other at all, and still managed to make it through everything, and come out as one of the cutest couples of telly land. Here’s 5 reasons why #Karankita are couple goals:
1. They make arranged marriages look like great fun (which they actually can be, btw)
As Ankita says, “We didn’t know anything about each other before our wedding. We took the plunge, and first became friends, then best friends and eventually fell in love.”
2. They experience things as they come! #noexpectations
Ankita believes that the best part about their relationship is the ease with which they handle things. She says, “We never had any expectations from each other, so everything we got was special.”
3. They are totes chill, and believe in giving each other space…
Again, this is one very important thing in every relationship, but people tend to ignore this most of the times. This is what Ankita has to say about this, “We always gave each other a lot of space and time to come around. We understood each other and that is how we became so compatible.” Truer words have never been spoken.
4. They can be absolutely real with each other, no need to fake their emotions or anything
The good, the bad, the best, the worst, everything is out in the open when it comes to Karan and Ankita. The gorgeous lady chimes in happily, “We have the freedom to be good, bad, ugly with each other, and still NEVER get judged. We can talk about the crappiest of stuff, and the most intellectual of things, just everything under the Sun, and still never judge or be judged.”
5. They always praise each other, no matter how small or how big the feat is..
