Deepika Padukone is one of the most versatile actresses that we have today. From Bollywood to Hollywood, the fashion industry and the best of fashion magazines and brands want to work with her in some way or another.
Celebrity photographer Dean Freeman who has shot the likes of Katy Perry and the Beckhams recently collaborated with Padukone on the ‘Experience Axis’ Campaign for Axis Bank and he had great things to say about her. The whole shooting experience was a breeze, according to him.
He says, “Whether it was through her playfully eating a pizza, her cheeky and fun dance in the dressing room or her strolling around the high streets looking like the sassy gorgeous superstar that she is, the whole filming process was made very pleasant by her charming and down-to-earth nature.

Of course, we had a wonderful team from production crew to the set builders to Deepika’s great stylist and all other elements that go into the process, but mostly it was a real joy and pleasure to work with such an amazing Bollywood star who is now crossing over into Hollywood and I hope to meet her back home and film with her again soon.”
Dean’s favourite moment was when Deepika improvised in a dressing room setup, taking photos with a Polaroid camera, “She was cheekily poking her face out from the dressing room curtains and dancing around in her amazing dress. She looked beautiful and a whole lot of fun.”
Before working on the shoot, Dean obviously knew who Deepika Padukone was, “So I knew she’d bring a great attitude and professionalism to the shoot. And it turned out to be even better!”
