11 Things A Bride Should Definitely Pack For Her Wedding Night

11 Things A Bride Should Definitely Pack For Her Wedding Night

The wedding is over and you’re finally in the hotel room all excited to be alone with your husband. But that’s when it strikes that you probably don’t have everything you need for the night and the next day. While you packed large trousseau suitcases, you probably forgot to pack that all-important overnight bag. Yup, it’s happened to a lot of us! Brides often forget to carry a little vidaai bag or even if they do, it’s not got everything they may need. So here are 11 items to pack for your wedding night. Trust us, you will need these.

1. A great makeup remover!

First things first, you need a great makeup remover to get rid all that makeup on your face. No matter how tired you are, do not skip this step. Besides harming your skin, you’ll wake up with smudged makeup all over your face. We highly recommend the Forest Essential Floral Makeup Remover that gently and effectively removes makeup. Also, do not forget to keep a packet of cotton balls along with it.

2. A few makeup essentials

You might have to go visit family directly from the hotel or you may have relatives visiting you for a brunch. Otherwise too, you will want to have basic makeup on when you step out of the room. A kajal and a subtle lip colour is a must. Apart from that, you can even throw in a blush, mascara and BB cream depending on your requirements.

3. Shampoo and conditioner

Your hair has gone through extensive styling. From backcombing to hairspray, it has tolerated it all. And you will want to wash it off first thing in the morning. And hotel toiletries generally don’t come in handy. We recommend the OGX Argan Oil Of Morocco Shampoo that helps repair dry, damaged and brittle tresses.

4. Something to pamper your feet

Ladies, your feet are going to be tired and aching after standing for so long in those 5-inch heels. And in all probability, you’ll be slipping into another pair for the post-wedding functions too. It’s important you give your feet the required rest by soaking them in hot water. Add in Aromakrafts Epsom Bath & Foot Spa Salt enriched with Apple Cinnamon to ease pain. You can even add in The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray to quickly refresh your tired feet.

5. Sheet masks are a lifesaver!

Back-to-back makeup on your skin can leave it looking dull and lifeless. Also, after that long wedding ceremony, you may want a quick pick-me-up for your face. While it’s not possible to whip up a face pack late in the night or early next morning, a sheet mask is your best bet. You may or may not need it, but it’s a good idea to have one in your overnight bag. The Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask calms your skin and leaves it looking healthy and soft.

6. Perfume, creams, the works!

Hey girl, do not forget to pack in a good perfume along with a body cream or body butter. Add to that a moisturizer and you’re all set to smell irresistible on your wedding night! Check out these amazing perfumes we’ve recommended for brides-to-be. Also, The Body Shop Rose Body Butter smells heavenly and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated.

7. Lingerie and sleepwear

You’ll definitely be packing in that sexy babydoll, lacey bridal lingerie and clothes for the next day. But in all of that, don’t forget your basic lingerie for the day after. Also, while babydolls do look sexy, they might not be the best option to sleep in. Take our advice and do keep a comfortable night suit in your bag.

8. A pretty jewellery box

You don’t want all that expensive jewellery to be tucked away in some zipper of your bag. And as a bride, we’re sure you’ll be wearing lots of it. So, do make sure your bestie finds you a pretty looking box for your jewels.

9. Garment bag is a must

Yet another essential that most brides tend to forget. You need one to pack your heavy bridal lehenga properly. Look for a lehenga cover or a large bag that is good enough to fit in your bridal outfit. You can even ask your designer to provide one along with the lehenga.

10. Medicines are a must

Weddings can get hectic. And while we sincerely hope you feel fit and fine, it’s always a good idea to have basic medicines like some for a headache and upset stomach. Also, if there is any medicine you take regularly, put that in too. A couple of band aids are a good idea just in case your heels leave you with shoe bites.

11. Your phone charger!
