Since the sweltering summer is here to stay, we might as well stay indoors and do what we do best – laze around and plan a movie marathon! This movie features Heather Graham and just in case you don’t know – she is super hot! The plot is about a woman who, according to the world, is living the best life ever. Things change when she meets another man and wants to abandon her boyfriend just to have wild and passionate sex. You’ll have to watch the movie to see what happens next… Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?
2. Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!
The name itself sounds too good to be true! Another major temptation – it stars Antonio Banderas! We can all agree that he makes any movie thrice as awesome. Okay, so the story is about a man who is looking to reunite with his past lover but she fails to recognize him. The plot follows his attempts to get her to fall back in love with him. It might include him tying her up and tying her down! *Wink*
3. Lie With Me
It’s a story about two people, Leila and David, who meet at a nightclub and instantly hit it off! Following which, the guy decides to leave his girlfriend, in order to pursue this new found relationship. However, things don’t go as smoothly as you’d expect – Leila, on the other hand, finds herself feeling trapped.
4. Cruel Intentions
If you haven’t watched this one already – then you must! The movie is an American teen drama based on the lives of a few wealthy high school students in New York. Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s characters, Sebastian and Kathryn, are step-siblings who place a bet to deflower the Headmaster’s daughter (played by the gorgeous Reese Witherspoon.) This dark drama is anything but your regular teenage chick flick. Also, this movie got the MTV Award for the best kiss in the year 2000. Need more reasons? *Wink*
5. Blue Is the Warmest Colour
A French teen who forms a deep emotional and physical connection with a girl she meets across the street…at a lesbian bar. Other than the fact that it won several awards at the Cannes Film Festival, this movie was a great hit amongst its audience. It’s the kind of movie that gets you thinking!
6. Secretary
This movie is about a young woman who is disturbed due to family pressure. She finds a job as a secretary with an attorney, who only adds to her worries as he isn’t a pleasant person to deal with. However, what forms the plot of the story is pretty damn interesting as she ends up having a BDSM relationship with him. How does their relationship get there? Well, you’ll have to watch the movie to find out.
7. The Last Tango In Paris
The story is about how a recently widowed American has a strange and confusing relationship with a young French woman. Even though this film is infamous for its raw sex scenes and its depiction of sexual violence – it is one of the most erotic movies ever made. Critics still consider this as one of the best in the genre, even though there are a million controversies attached to it!
8. Shortbus
This is an interesting story about a woman who is unable to climax with her husband, no matter how hard she tries. She, however, wants to try out new and exciting opportunities. A series of events lead her to a sexual salon and the story unfurls from there on…
9. Shame
This movie is about Brandon (Michael Fassbender) who pretends to live a normal life in New York City, but secretly, he is a sex addict. He is forced to confront his addiction when his sister (Carey Mulligan) comes to town and crashes at his apartment. This movie examines a man’s needs and how our life experiences actually shape the way we are.
10. Basic Instinct
How can we forget Sharon Stone’s infamous leg-crossing scene! A crime novelist (Sharon Stone) is linked to the death of her rockstar boyfriend. She manages to seduce the police detective (Michael Douglas) who is investigating the case. Meanwhile, the murder case becomes complicated with added deaths and suspects.
