Bata was an important part of our lives while growing up in the ‘90s, so much so that we millennials can’t seem to stop talking about it. It’s always been synonymous with comfort and quality.
When a brand as huge as Bata becomes an active part of your closet in your twenties, isn’t it the best? The brand has been reinventing itself with a cool, 21st-century twist and giving it a fun, fashionable makeover. Another major plus? They’ve managed to keep the price points pocket-friendly!
As POPxo’s Senior Fashion Writer, I jumped on the opportunity to attend the #BataFashionEvent held at the Imperial Hotel, New Delhi. They had organized a fashion show that showcased the brand’s latest collection. And we were SO impressed with what they have to offer. From easy, summery flips flops to fancy high heels… the range was elaborate! There was also a really stylish range of shoes for men – think Oxfords, derby shoes, loafers etc. All designed with a very modern aesthetic.
The collection was designed keeping in mind comfort, hence every shoe created ensured that you could wear them all day long, but not feel a twitch of discomfort! We’re currently struggling with an urge to shopping right away!
If you thought Bata didn’t deserve your attention, well, it’s time to think again.
