21 is a big and exciting number! Something you should know - the habits developed in your 20s are going to last you a lifetime. It is a special year and we have some habits girls should adopt by the time they turn 21!
1. Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night
Occasional late nights are bound to happen but try to get out of the 4am-to-1pm sleep schedule.
2. Love yourself. Always.
Learn to look at yourself in the mirror and appreciate, admire and compliment yourself.
3. Kick that one unhealthy habit
It’s time to leave smoking for good.
4. Spend time with family
Take out time for the fam-bam. Nothing beats the feeling of bringing smiles to the faces you love the most.

...Instead of going for the cheesiest pasta on the menu. In a few years, you would be thanking yourself for developing this habit.
6. Be grateful
Always count your blessings and be thankful for every small thing in your life.
7. End the relationship if it doesn’t make you happy
Whether it’s your overprotective boyfriend or a girlfriend who has a habit of putting you down. You deserve to be treated right and if there is anyone who does not make you feel loved, feel free to walk away from them.
8. Find a job you love
Since you’re going to be spending a lot of time working, wait for a good job. Choose something that makes you want to get out of bed and get to work.
9. Use your voice
Don’t lower your voice to please the people around you. If you want to express your thoughts, start a blog and start penning down your dreams and desires.
10. Create a to-do list every morning
One of the best habits that helps you become organised and never lets you forget an important task.
11. Stop comparing yourself
You are who you are! Never compare yourself to anyone else.
12. Leave your phone for a few hours
Learn to leave technology and take out time for real people.
13. Let your close ones know how much they matter to you
Never miss an opportunity to let your friends and family know how much you love them.

It is natural to feel aimless and not know what you’re doing with your life during this age. Analyse your dreams and goals and make yourself work towards achieving them all.
18. Forgive people
Forgive the ones who have hurt you in the past and apologise to the ones who you have hurt.
The gift of giving is the greatest gift of all. Do some charitable work and bring joy to the lives of others.
