It’s all kinds of awesome to see our girl crush Deepika Padukone on The Ellen Show. An Indian actress on a big time Hollywood talk show is something we should definitely celebrate. And we love, love, love that DPad retains her normal accent as she speaks – and isn’t overcome by an American twang as so many other Indian celebs have been. But the big reveal that happens in this episode is…Deepika’s feelings about xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage co-star Vin Diesel! So is there something romantic going on, asks Ellen DeGeneres of her – and DPad says, ‘There’s no smoke without fire…’ If she is to be believed, in Deepika’s head, they live together, have this amazing life together, have babies together. Now, we don’t know if that’s just humour or whether DPad does have a crazy-level crush on Vin Diesel, but we gotta hand it to the girl for coming up with an answer that’s both sweet and funny…and yet leaves room for some speculation in the minds of us regular folks about whether there really is ‘something going on’ between the two.
