Erich Segal once said, “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”. A few of us really took this to heart and somewhere along the way forgot how to say our “sorrys”. If you’re in a situation wherein you have to apologize to your boyfriend but don’t really want to say those words, then these ways could sure help you out.
1. Give him a hug
Don’t say anything, don’t ask anything. Just give him the warmest hug *ever*. He’s bound to melt with this.
2. Send him a “Sorry” song
And you can say, “Baby, baby can I hold you tonight?”
3. Bake him a cake or cookies
Nothing says, “I’m sorry” quite like confectionary made with a whole lot of TLC. Who doesn’t love brownies, cookies...all the good stuff? Everyone loves them! EVERYONE.
4. Cook a meal for him
If you don’t know how to bake, then bring all your culinary skills to the table and cook him a big, fat meal. He definitely can’t stay mad at you anymore after that, can he?
Constantly telling someone that you’re sorry doesn’t change anything and can also be really annoying for the other person. So, give him all the space he needs and tell him that you’ll be around when he wants to talk.
6. Write something awfully mushy for him
It could be a poem, a letter, a list of 100 reasons why you love him - anything that you’re good at. This piece of written discourse should comprise how awesome he is as a person and just how much you love him. Let him know that your life is better with him in it.
7. Send him pictures of you doing everything with a sad face
You know the deliberate sad face? With the exaggerated “corners of your mouth drooping”, with the sad eyes, the far away, “Why won’t you forgive me” look? It’ll work like magic.
8. Take him out for ice-cream
Ice-cream makes the world seem like a better place (also, since you want the ice-cream more for yourself, this is a win-win situation). And if he’s still stubborn and ice-cream doesn’t quite work, take him out for a nice lunch or dinner.
