Step 1: The Super Subtle Smoky Eye

For a super subtle smoky eye like DPad’s, begin by grabbing your black kohl and use a brush to apply some light black colour on your eyes and blend it onto your lids. You don’t want to make it too dark, so take a little kohl and build it up for a soft, smudged black all over your lids. Then, take a warm brown shadow (it should be about 2 shades darker than your skin tone) and blend it right on the crease of your eyes. Blend it into the crease as well as on the eyelid. Now take the same colour and brush it along your lower lash line and use your brush to smudge it.

Step 2: Finish Off With Liner

Once your colour is blended well, subtly line the outer corners of your lids with a super thin black line using the kohl – this will make your lashes look fuller. Deepika doesn’t have any kajal on her lower lids, but it’s a great idea to line them with a nude pencil if you like to seriously brighten your eyes and make them look more awake. Don’t forget to use a generous coat of mascara for that extra oomph.

Step 3: All About That Base

Dippy’s face isn’t heavily made up, so make sure to only use a few drops of your foundation and blend it well using a damp sponge to even out your skin tone. You want it to look as natural as possible so blending it all in seamlessly is key. Also blend in some concealer on the undereye area if you need to cover up dark circles and make your peepers look fresh. Next, use a blusher brush or your fingers to apply your blush onto the hollows of your cheeks right up to your cheekbones and blend in a sweeping motion directed towards your temples.

Step 4: Get That Glow

To get that ‘natural’ glow like the diva, take your highlighter and blend it onto the high points of your face, namely your cheekbones, on your brow bones (right under the arch of your brows), down the bridge of your nose and on your cupid’s bow. Your skin will look so bright, fresh and luminous!

Step 5: Perfect Your Pout

Swipe on your coral-nude lippie and add a touch of gloss on top if you like.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

If you need, use a bit of dark brown eyeshadow to fill in your brows to make them look really bold and defined just like Deepika’s. Place your bindi in the centre and add a black dot just below it with a liquid liner to complete the Ram Leela look. Pair it with pretty chaand balis and 2 braids pulled back from the front and pinned at the back to pull off a super pretty festive avatar.
