Wedding fashion in India seems to have come a long way…and no, we’re SO not complaining! From crop tops and lehengas to pant sarees, new age brides are making sure to look their fashionable best. And if there’s another trend we’re currently loving, it’s that of wedding gowns. Brides are rocking the red carpet look in gorgeous gowns and, well, each one of them looks like a complete stunner! Check out these brides who wore them and owned them!
Fashion blogger Mitali Sagar looked elegant in a Shantanu and Nikhil emerald green gown at her cocktail. Apart from the colour, we love the billowing style of the gown and the minimal gold work at the shoulders. A faux bob and a deep lip colour completed her look.

Looks like this one’s a favourite! We spotted yet another one of our gorgeous brides wearing a similar Shantanu and Nikhil creation in a different colour and a few extra customisations.

Wow! We just can’t stop staring at this picture that looks straight out of a fairytale. Love the flowy blush pink gown with an embellished corset top. For her engagement, the bride paired it with a heavy neckpiece and danglers. A classic high bun and a pretty tiara completed her look.

This bride made an ultra glam appearance in a deep maroon gown encrusted with little crystals all over. Looks straight out a Bollywood movie, don’t you think?! The fall of the gown perfectly flatters her slim frame and we love how she’s kept her accessories to a bare minimum.

Tired of wearing the reds and pinks? Opt for a powder blue gown for a summer wedding function. It’s such a refreshing colour and we adore the delicate lace detailing at the back. The bride completed her look with bold eyes and a string of orchids in her hair. So pretty!
For the bride who wants to have that touch of Indianness in her wedding gown, this seems like the best bet. Exquisite and elegant, the delicate threadwork and the belt add all the glamour to this piece. Deep wine lips, gold and black smoky eyes and a quirky headpiece make her totally stand out!

A peach engagement gown with intricate threadwork, this one can easily be worn for special occasions after the wedding too! We love how it fits snugly at the top and flares gracefully from the waist down. Full points for the pretty half up half down hairdo.

A beautiful beige, halter sleeves and net detailing…recipe for a perfect reception gown! We like the fact that it’s different from the heavily flared gowns and seems like the best choice for a summer wedding. Ooh, and that hair accessory sure does stand out!
