Riding high on the success of her recently released film, Ram Leela, the actor took time out of her busy schedule for an exclusive with eStylista.
What is the diet and exercise regime you followed for your stunning figure in Ram Leela?
There was so special diet as such. I made sure that I ate right and did light workouts whenever possible. It’s all about consistency and moderation.
Your outfits in the film are absolutely beautiful. Did you have any favourite pieces you wished you could take home?
My favourite look from the entire movie has to be my outfit from the song Ang Alga De. I loved it’s classic combination of cream with gold and beautiful simplicity.
What’s your personal style mantra?
I am a huge believer in wearing something that is simple, classic and comfortable! No one looks good if they are not at ease with their look. My go-to outfit would be a white chikankari kurta paired with salwars.
What’s your secret fashion obsession?
It has to be shoes!! No matter what brand they are – If I fall in love with a pair, I have to buy it!
What is your everyday beauty routine like?
I make sure I keep my skin hydrated by drinking lots of water. I remove all my make up before going to bed and religiously follow the cleansing, toning and moisturising routine. And lastly I swear by the BB cream from Garnier.
Your current favourite playlist?
Given that I am totally immersed in the film at the moment – I would say all the songs from Ram Leela!
Finally, what is your ideal cheat meal?
Oh, this one is simple – A molten chocolate cake! If one must cheat – it’s best to go all the way. Nothing beats the gooey deliciousness of chocolate.
