Things you will need:
- Old shorts
- A pair of scissors
- Acrylic glue
- Pen
- Ruler
- Cloth patches/lace of your choice

Hack 1
Step 1: Place the cloth patches on the shorts and take the estimate of the area you want to cover.
Step 2: Cut the cloth patches according to the estimated size.
Step 3: Place them one on each side of the shorts.
Step 4: Using acrylic glue, stick them on each side taking care that they don’t cover the pockets.

Hack 2
Step 1: Place the lace cutouts on the back pockets of your shorts and mark the estimated area you want to cover.
Step 2: Using a ruler and a pen, draw triangles alongside the outer crease lines of your shorts.
Step 3: Cut along the sides of the triangles that you had drawn alongside the crease line.
Step 4: Cut the lace cloth according to the measurements.
Step 5: Using acrylic glue, stick the lace cut outs on the back packets and also on the cut triangles.
