7 AMAZING Eyeliner Styles To Rock At Any Shaadi Function!

Eyeliner and its various challenges… aren’t we girls totally aware of just how tricky it is to master that one stroke! But you’ve got to agree that it’s worth every minute of practice. After all, eyeliner is that one single makeup tool that instantly adds lots of drama and glamour to your eyes. So this Shaadi season, as you gear up for all those weddings, here are a few eyeliner styles you’ve got to see. Because POPxo girls don’t repeat!

1. The double wing

Winged eyeliner is still hot, but what’s even sexier is the double-winged eyeliner. Use a gel-based black eyeliner to create a thick winged line on your eyelid. Next, use the same eyeliner to line the bottom of your eyes and extend the line outwards from the corner of your eyes. It’s an extremely dramatic look and will work wonders for a night function.

2. The smudged look

Eyeliner has always been your weakest point?! We hear you girl and that’s why here’s a style that you too can master in minutes. Once you’re done with your smokey eyeshadow, carefully line your lids with a black eyeliner. While the liner is still wet, use an eyeshadow brush to gently blend it in. There, your look is complete! It’s sexy and the bold eyes go extremely well with nude lips. A kohl pencil is the best for smokey looks, use one instead of a liquid or gel liner.

3. Colour crush

Add a pop of colour to your eyes with a coloured liner. You could just put on one stroke or even go in for a double line look by clubbing it with a black liner. Although we love this super colourful look, for a shaadi function we’d rather skip the eyeshadow. Line your eyes with a black liner and top it with a coloured liner to match your outfit. Put on a neutral lip shade and you have one of the most rocking wedding eyeliner styles!

4. Square it up!

Whoa… we absolutely love how Lisa Haydon looks here! And her thick squared eyeliner is to die for. Such a powerful way to do up your eyes! Use a pointed eyeliner pen to draw the outline and then fill it up using a basic eyeliner or black eye pencil. A gel eyeliner is ideal to achieve this look. Skip the eyeshadow, swipe on a dark lip shade and keep the rest of your makeup minimal.

5. The exaggerated wing

If thick liners are not your style, opt for a fine yet exaggerated line. We love the super thin line that extends all the way to the outer tip of your eyebrow. Use a fine tip liquid liner and load on tons of mascara to add some drama. A bright lip colour, some blush and you’re ready to hit the shaadi.

6. Add some glitter

Take a leaf out of Sonam Kapoor’s Cannes diary and experiment with a glitter eyeliner! We love that thin stroke of gold eyeliner that extends just a little outside her lids. Go in for a gold/metallic shade and keep it minimal with just a fine line. Layers of mascara and a hint of kohl will complete your glam look.

Don’t just wing it. Go big and give your eyes that cat-eye effect with a thick and deeply pigmented liner. Use a gel liner to create the outline and then gently fill it in. Line your waterline with a dark brown kohl and keep the lips nude. Paired with a stunning lehenga, this one will win hearts!
