Love me, hate me, you simply can’t ignore me. You know that right? So pay heed to my words of wisdom, I promise they’ll help you plenty.
1. You’re the luckiest man on planet Earth!
My BFF is the most caring, loving, funny, witty and good-natured girl I know. I could write a book on her awesomeness but you get the point, right?
2. She’s chosen you and she totally means it.
I know my best friend better than anyone else. And it really doesn’t matter how many crushes or boyfriends there have been in the past. You are the one! You are her future. And that’s the only thing that matters.
3. I took a karate workshop once.
Why is this relevant, you ask? Because you need to treat her right or else I’ll have to brush up my skills and kick your ass.
4. Don’t let her love for pink fool you.
She may love her heels and she may love pink but don’t mistake her to be a ‘girly girl’. She isn’t one of those damsel in distress types. She’s always been independent and that’s one of the best things about her!
5. She hates lies.
She’s allergic to lies and liars. So even if it’s a small fib, just avoid!
6. Your family is going to love her more.
Don’t fight it. That’s just who she is. Wherever she goes she manages to charm people in the most genuine way. Trust me on this, you’re not going to be the most loved one anymore. (Also, welcome to my world!)
7. Don’t tell her I said this, but she can totally get ‘hangry’ at times!
What’s that, you ask? Well it’s hungry and angry at the same time. In case you feel that coming on, just buy her food! It’s very simple – food is the answer to a happy marriage.
8. We are inseparable.
You will have to make your peace with me lounging around your house. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you!
9. She has a serious case of wanderlust.
And while you have the complete privilege of taking holidays with her all over the world; once in a while it’ll be my turn too!
10. I like you more than I let you believe.
It’s my job to keep you in check! You know that, right? But did you even for a second think that she agreed to marry you without getting my opinion on it?! Of course you had my buy-in from day one. Please keep her happy; she totally deserves it and so do you. I’m glad you are the one she’s chosen to spend her life with.
