This is a love story that started on Facebook and as destiny would have it, the wildly in love couple tied the knot in a gorgeous wedding in Rajasthan.
Jab They Met: Sonal and Sandeep Bishnoi
Sonal had always been apprehensive of an arranged marriage but finding love had never really been on her mind. One fine day when she received a friend request on Facebook from Sandeep, she couldn’t help but accept it. “It was his good looks that attracted me,” she admits. “Conversations over Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype led to love and we both decided to break the news to our parents. The family meeting was fixed and this was also the first time we both were meeting in person!” Everything fell perfectly in place and the couple got married on the 17th of Feb, 2016.
Being a Rajasthani, Sonal wanted an elaborate wedding jewellery set that looked royal. “I wanted to pick up something that was unique, vintage and timeless.” The bride picked up most of her stunning jewellery from RC Jewellers, New Delhi.
“I grew up dreaming of a red wedding lehenga and after an extensive search I finally found this gorgeous piece at Asiana Couture, New Delhi.”
The wedding festivities took place at the Crystal Palm, Sriganganagar, Rajasthan and was planned entirely by the bride and her besties.

“My family and friends surprised me with a video featuring super cute messages from all my near and dear ones. That was the moment when I could no longer hold back my tears and remember telling my mom that I don’t want to get married!” Aww, we totally feel you Sonal! 🙂
Sonal’s makeup was done by Shalini Arora. “She is my rockstar and I would recommend her to everyone I know,” she comments.
The wedding was shot by AV Photography, Jaipur. “Abhishek and his team were like a part of our family. Their madness and passion is brilliant and it is thanks to them that I have such beautiful memories to look back on,” sighs the newlywed.
