Who said your hair needs an hour’s worth of styling to look great? We give you some gorgeous hairstyles you can perfect in just half a minute. Now you can snooze your alarm all you want, we help you look amazingly put together in 30 seconds flat.
1. The Good Old Front Twist
Not only is it cute and it’s probably the easiest style ever. Just take about an inch of hair from the front, twist it away from your face and pin it down. Use cute bobby pins and criss-cross them diagonally instead of concealing them, to make a statement!
This super playful bun adds a girly twist to your ordinary top knot. Tie your hair up into a super high ponytail, lift it upwards and then brush it downwards to create a messy texture. Then just twirl it into a bun.
3. Slicked Back and Sexy
This style is perfect for those mornings when you don’t have time to blow dry your strands. Work a bit of gel or mousse through your roots and then use your fingers to comb your hair back. It’s a bold look for sure, but it’s so easy. Plus with the right makeup it adds that red carpet drama to the look.
4. The Braided Low Bun
Tie your hair into a low ponytail and then braid it down to the ends and secure it. Wrap the braid around the base of the ponytail and pin it in place. Voila, you’re ready to flaunt a fuss-free knotted bun.
Also known as the acorn bun, we’ve seen plenty of celebs from Alia Bhatt to Kylie Jenner sporting this relaxed style. What’s amazing about it is that it looks good on any hair texture and especially if you have lovely curls. Throw your hair back and twist it into a loose bun with a few waves left loose.
You know what’s so great about rope braids? They require just 2 sections (instead of 3) to twist together, saving you plenty of time. Take two sections of hair on either side and rope braid them back and secure with an elastic in the centre at the back. Wrap a thin section of hair around the elastic and pin it at the bottom to conceal it.
Who said ponytails had to be boring? Make your bedhead work for you for this simple hairstyle. Take a fine tooth comb and backcomb your crown in thin sections for loads of volume. Then gather your hair in a loose, mid-high ponytail and tie it. Wrap a thin section of hair around the base and pin it at the bottom to conceal your hair tie. That’s all it takes to look as glam as our DPad!
