Deepika’s hair and makeup are always on point, but we are absolutely in love with her look in Bajirao Mastani’s song, Pinga. Guess what? You can look just as gorgeous as her, with minimal makeup. Here’s how to get her look - it’s not as difficult as it appears! Watch the tutorial now:
To begin with, apply primer all over your face, using a brush, before you start with the makeup.
Step 2 - Foundation
Take a foundation brush and some liquid foundation. Dab a drop of the foundation on your hand, and then apply it over your cheeks and then all over your face using a brush.
Step 3 - Concealer
Follow the foundation with a concealer to cover any dark circles or blemishes, you may have. Use your index finger to apply the concealer, wherever it is required and then blend it with your hand. One useful way to conceal your under-eye area is by forming a triangle with your concealer and then blending in, for best results.
Step 4 - Setting Up The Base
Take some powder on your powder brush and set your makeup to control oil and dust, and make your makeup last longer. Also, it’ll mattify your makeup just like Deepika’s.
Step 5 - Bronzer
Take your powder brush, and lightly apply bronzer under your cheekbones and above the jawline.
Step 6 - Light Blush Shade
To keep the makeup minimal, we’ll add a light blush shade after bronzing. Apply a light blush shade from the apple of your cheeks to the high cheek-bone.
Step 7 - Eyeshadow
To get an extremely natural eye makeup look, add a hint of eyeshadow in a very natural color, with minimum shimmer with your fingers. Apply kajal to the upper lid of your eyes on the inside. Complete the eye makeup with a coat of mascara.
Step 8 - Color The Eyebrows
Deepika’s eyebrows are the highlight of the look. Use an eyebrow pencil, and color your eyebrows in their natural shade.
Step 9 - The Lips
Deepika’s lips look like a natural shade of pink in the video. So take a dark neutral brownish shade and color in your lips with it. Now apply a second coating of a deep maroon shade over it with a lip pencil.
Step 10 - The Bindi
Take the same deep maroon shade you used for your lips on brush, and make a half moon shape and a dot, for a bindi.
Step 1: Tie your hair in a ponytail. Now take a doughnut filling, and pass your ponytail through it.
Step 2: Spread your hair equally on all sides of the doughnut and lock them with another rubber band. You can pin up any extra hair, if needed.
Step 3: To complete the look, add 3 roses to the side of your bun. And you’re ready, gorgeous!
