1. For Tightened & Toned Skin

What you will need: Buttermilk, Oatmeal, Almond Oil, Olive Oil

Take one cup buttermilk and four tablespoons of boiled oatmeal. Leave the oatmeal until it comes to room temperature. Add one tablespoon of olive oil and almond oil to the above two ingredients and form a fine paste. Avoiding your eyes and lips, apply this pack to the face and neck and let it hold for 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and pat your skin dry with a towel.

2. For Getting Rid Of Blemishes

What you will need: Turmeric and Curd

Take one tablespoonful of curd and mix it with a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi). Apply the mixture to your face and leave it to dry for 15 minutes. Then rinse it off with cool water, and pat your skin dry with a face towel. This face pack is also good for even the slightest appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

3. For That Burst of Hydration

What you will need: Cucumber and Coconut Oil

Take the milk from a fresh coconut - do this by grating the coconut with water and then pressing it for milk - and mix it with the pulp of half a cucumber. Allow this to become a paste. Apply generously over your face using a cotton ball and let it stay for 10-15 minutes. It should provide an instant feeling of hydration and cooling to your face, leaving you with skin that feels soothed. The oil from the coconut is especially good for extra-dry skin and the cucumber helps to soothe those who have highly sensitive skin. Both of these are mild and shouldn’t aggravate the skin.

4. Perfect For Tightening Those Pesky Pores!

What you will need: Masoor Daal and Besan (Gram Flour)

Boil the daal in plain water until it becomes pulpy. Mix this with besan to form a paste - use two spoonfuls of besan for every cup full of daal. Take the paste and apply it directly to the face and neck and almost massage it in. Leave this for 15 minutes and then wash your face with cold water. You should be left with visibly smaller pores!

5. Boosting Collagen Production!

What you will need: Potato and Carrot

Carrots are a rich source of Vitamin A, which helps in boosting the collagen production of skin. Potato is also considered to be a great anti-ageing ingredient that smoothens the skin while reducing wrinkles. Peel and boil both of these and make a paste from the two products. Apply this to your face and massage it in gently. Wash your face with warm water.

Tip: Be sure to keep the (unboiled) skin of the potato and use it on your face after you have used the pack, as it will leave your skin feeling smooth and soothed!

6. To Keep Your Skin Soft & Supple

What you will need: Yoghurt and Olive Oil

In a small container, take 2 spoons of yogurt and add around 4-6 drops of olive oil. Mix and make the olive oil dissolve in the yoghurt. Now apply the mask over your face, especially in areas that you have identified as problem zones. Now keep this mask for approximately 20 minutes and then remove it by using cold water. This is a good mask to use daily, and will keep your skin looking fresh and young - and your skin will thank you for keeping wrinkles at bay!

7. For Glowing Radiance

What you will need: Avocado, Papaya and Kiwi

Avocado contains a lot of natural oil and is full of skin-enriching vitamins like A, B, C, and potassium - it really helps to give you a young and fresh look. Papaya contains a special enzyme called papain that can remove dead cells and cure skin impurities. It also helps in regenerating new cells and provides elasticity to our skin. Kiwi is rich in vitamin C, E, and vitamin A. The black seeds of kiwi contain Omega 3 fatty acids that keeps the skin healthy and soft.

To make this pack, take 1 avocado and 1 kiwi fruit, remove the skin, and get the pulp out of both.  Mash the pulp from the fruits to get a smooth paste. You now add the papaya and mix it into the pulp. Mash it all up, then apply on the face and neck and keep on for half an hour. Gently rinse off using warm water.

8. To Reduce That Puffy-Eyed Appearance

What you will need: Rose Water and Coffee

Rose water has regenerating properties and also has a calming effect on the skin. It increases the blood circulation in the capillaries and thus reduces thread veins. It also reduces blemishes and puffiness under the eyes. Caffeine, as we know, helps to combat the effects of feeling tired! So it works as a beauty product too! Make a paste out of the two products and use it as a mask on your skin! Keep the mask on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Using cotton balls, dab more rose water on your face as it will leave your skin with a pinkish, youthful appearance!

9. For Newer, Regenerated Looking Skin

What you will need: Pomegranate, Green Tea, Lemon, Honey

Green tea and pomegranate are both very rich in powerful antioxidants and vitamins. Green tea is said to be very good in slowing down the natural ageing process. Make a pot full of green tea and a paste of pomegranate along with the seeds. Now, add 1 tablespoon of honey and lemon. Apply it on face and neck and keep for 20 minutes and wash it away with lukewarm water. This face pack acts as a natural peeling pack too and is suitable for all skin types.  Remember to make a fresh pack each time because it can oxidize and go bad quite easily.

10. For Tightening & Retaining Moisture Of Dryer Skin

What you will need: Egg White and Glycerin

Egg whites are a source of 69 different major proteins that help in tightening the skin tissue, and help to reduce even the slightest appearance of wrinkles, giving your skin a youthful appearance. Glycerin is a natural humectant, which means that it reduces the loss of moisture. Take one egg and one teaspoon of glycerin. Separate the egg white and combine the glycerin with this. Apply to a clean face and let it stay for 10 minutes and then wash it off with water.

You can use this mask up to 3/4 times a week to improve the sagging appearance of skin.

11. For Intensive All-Over Skin Nourishment

What you will need:  Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey!

Apple cider vinegar promotes blood circulation through the capillaries of the skin, balances the pH of the skin, acts as a natural skin toner, tightens the skin tissues to make it supple and youthful and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Apple cider vinegar when mixed with honey makes a complete skin care face pack that provides intense nourishment to the skin. Combine 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey and mix it well in a glass.

Apply on a clean face and massage in soft circular motions for 5 minutes. Leave it on for another 15-20 minutes and wash off with water. Repeat it 3-4 times per week to get lively, naturally glowing and youthful skin.
