1. Where to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks?
For a shot of espresso and cakes try Biffi Pasticceria, a 200 year institution which still retains its old world charm. Make sure you do it the Italian way – stand by the bar and have your cuppa. My favourite restaurant is Bice – its always buzzing and I always go there when I am in Milan.
Drinks in the Bulgari outdoor garden is a perfect place to be in summer or autumn.
2. Where to shop and what to buy in Milan?
Whilst you are shopping away to bliss, around the style mile, send the man to the Gucci flagship men’s store in the Brera district, or treat him to tickets to a AC Milan game at the impressive San Siro Stadium . He may fall in love with you all over again !
3. The best shopping tip when in Milan?
Visit the iconic italian stores and brands – my favourite is a stationary store called Fabriano & Tassotti. The Brian & Barry Building – a new stylishly curated store in the fashion landscape of Milan – is also a must visit.
4. A secret shopping place?
Not so secret , its the Excelsior – a multi brand store which I love.
5. What is unique about fashion in Milan?
If you are a fashion aficionado , Milan’s the place to be – where fashion is fearless and there are hosts of exhibits showcasing new and emerging talent from the world. I first spotted Sophia Webster shoes and accessories in Milan. The Vogue Talents Corner features an interactive exhibition of emerging clothing, designers with unique stylistic backgrounds from around the world – a must see.
6. A tip that has come handy in exploring the city?
If you are a first timer, prepare a list of things to do and places to visit . Bookings at restaurants ahead of time is well recommended.

Four Seasons, Bulgari, and the Carlton Baglioni.
8. The best beauty shop in Milan?
I am extremely excited by Gucci’s beauty range 🙂
9. Spa worth your time in Milan?
The urban spas that top my list are Terme Milano, the Bulgari Spa , the Four Seasons, and the spa at the Carlton Baglioni.
10. Where to party in Milan?
Come 6 pm, and Milan’s bars start bustling. The Il Gattopardo Cafe is super cool and fun. Do visit the Dolce & Gabbana Gold – Bar Martini, The Armani Prive, and the Cavalli Club are also fab places to catch a drink.
11. What to eat in Milan?
There is a huge variety of rich Italian cuisine available in Milan. Ossobuco , Veal Milanese, Risotto Milanese – are some signature dishes to sample. The north of Italy is very well known for its cheeses, so make sure you try some. It is very difficult to go wrong when it comes to Italian food, because it never disappoints.
12. What’s the one place a first timer must do in Milan?
Get to know the city of Milan on foot – start with a visit to the Duomo, one of the most beautiful churches in the world. Walk through the the Vittorio Galleria Emanuelle II, a glass vaulted icon of Italian architecture. Stop by the La Scala. Take a stroll through the fashionably edgy Brera district. Dont leave Milan without seeing Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper hidden away at the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
