My love for great images has made me a certified Insta-junkie. Very often with just a minute to spare, I find myself scrolling down, gazing at great fashion images. They are not always of models and celebrities, but also of stylish people who aesthetically put together amazing looks - worthy enough for everyone to borrow a few tips from. These are my takeaways.

Messy ensembles with multiple layers of contrasting colours and silhouettes almost never come together well. Instead choose clean lines, neutral colors and stay with a monochromatic palette for a flawlessly classy look. Add a pop of colour with an accessory to spice it up if required.
2. Moderately messy hair is hot

A severe updo, or a perfect-every-hair-in-place blowdry is boring. Go for the messy side knots, voluminous bed-head head hair, or a tousled updo to look like a real woman with the confidence to carry off a casual look.
A good pair of sunglasses can repair and rescue any look. Classic, retro or reflective they will add an extra edge of sophistication and glamour. Find a pair that compliments the shape of your face and a colour that accentuates the skin tone.
Update any average look with a stiletto. It’s the epitome of celebrity style glam. A 4-5 incher will add height, length and change your body language to resemble supermodel style. Pumps, peep toes or sandals for the summer and boots for the winter.
Fashion layering is an art but nevertheless one that can be easily achieved. The trick is to achieve a balance and harmonious blend of colour and texture that is easy on the eye. It’s also essential to choose one piece that’s going to be the focal point of the outfit.
