To develop your abdominal muscles, the leg raise exercise is extremely effective.

Step 2 - With the support of your hands, gently lift your legs above the floor till they’re in a 90-degree angle. (Your body should be in an “L” position.)

Sonam’s diet is loaded with proteins, fibre, vitamins and nutrients. She eats everything, but her rule is no carbs post 6 p.m.. Her diet mostly comprises of eggs, oatmeal, fruits, dal, sabzi, nuts, salads and white meats like chicken and fish. If you want a balanced diet, here’s what you should be feeding yourself and why!
1.Almonds and Other Nuts
Nuts not only nourish your brain cells but also help in building muscle. They help you fight obesity, decrease the chances of heart diseases and fight ageing. Besides, they make for a tasty and healthy snack, which is why we encourage you to include them in your daily diet.
2. Fresh Veggies
It’s important to eat them every day because there’s so much good in them! They contain nutrients in the form of minerals, water and fibre. They also help you keep diseases and obesity at bay. Your tastebuds may not always like them, but they will always do good for your system. So, ladies, shut your eyes, chew and swallow!
Oatmeal helps lower cholesterol and is a rich source of fibre your body. Having a bowl of it on a regular basis helps maintain your blood sugar levels. It also boosts your energy and so makes for a perfect workout snack. So what are you waiting for? Grab a yourself a bowl and start munching!
4. Eggs and White Meat
After working out, your body craves proteins. Eggs and white meat are an excellent source of this. They help build muscle tone, strengthen your immune system and help you burn fat! Red meat is difficult to digest, hence you should stick to meat like chicken and fish - they are lighter and easy for your body to digest.
III. And Don’t Forget the Grooming!
When Sonam shows off her belly, doesn’t it look absolutely flawless? That’s because she takes care of herself. To make your abs look fantastic, you need to pay attention to your body-care regime too.
1. Body Scrubs
It’s important to exfoliate not just your face but the rest of your body - including your tummy. Use your fave body scrub on your tummy once or twice a week for smoother, baby-soft skin. Make sure to invest in a good quality one.
2. Hair Removal
Shaving, of course, isn’t the best idea to deal with hair on your stomach. But pretty much all salons offer a tummy wax; it’s a quick procedure that leaves you with smooth skin for a few weeks at a time. Perfect for flaunting all those cute crop tops with confidence!
Laser treatment for body hair is more expensive, but its effects are permanent, which means you never have to worry about hair again. Before you get it done, though, consult a dermatologist and test the procedure out on on a patch of your skin. If the results are positive, you can happily go ahead with it.
Need we say this? Well, we’ll do it anyway. Whenever you’re ready to flash those sexy abs of yours, make sure you’ve moisturized well. The last thing you want to do is be caught with flaky or dry skin!
If you follow these tips regularly, you’re bound to get abs like Sonam Kapoor soon enough. (Perhaps even better!) Go get ’em, girlfriend!
