  Flirty Yet Romantic

Jessica

Show off those sexy collar bones in a strapless dress by sweeping your strands up in a super romantic hairdo of pairing an effortless bun with braids. Accessorize with dainty earrings and a stunning necklace to amp up the look.

Start With Your Hair: It may look elaborate but it is just the opposite. Begin with using a texturizing spray on dry hair and tousling with your fingers. Then, take 3 narrow sections from both sides of your part (it could be a side or centre parting) and begin braiding down the side of your head and downwards and blend with the rest of your hair. Gather all your hair into a messy ponytail or twist up into a bun and secure with bobby pins.

Makeup Note: Since this look is all about flaunting your charm, baby pink lips (we like MAC’s Pink Pigeon Lipstick) and rosy cheeks will compliment it best. Don’t forget to dab a dash of shimmery white eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes for a super dewy effect.

Go Short For A Night

With so many celebrities flaunting newly cropped bobs and lobs on the red carpet, it’s definitely a trend that will get heads turning. Don’t worry, you don’t need to crop off your precious strands, we help you ace the faux bob to help make those stunning danglers pop. Pair it with an embellished dress for a very Great Gatsby spin.

Start With Your Hair: Blow dry your hair first and then gather it in a low ponytail and secure an elastic just an inch or two above your ends. Next, roll your hair up and secure at your nape with plenty of bobby pins. Voila, you just got a short hair makeover!

Makeup Note: Dramatic eyeliner wings can add to the retro vibe and top it off with nude glossy lips. Check out our eyeliner hacks if you need help perfecting those wings.

Big Hair Don’t Care

Everything about this look screams bold and sexiness personified so pair it with a statement necklace. Try it if you’re aiming at that bombshell-factor and need something to compliment that low neckline or sparkly sequins. Channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw and walk in with oodles of confidence and we guarantee you’ll be fighting off the suitors.

Start With Your Hair: After washing and conditioning your hair, let it dry naturally – if you have fine or limp hair then you may want to use a volumizing mousse like Paul Mitchell Extra Body Sculpting Foam for that va va voom effect. Next, take a one or two-inch wide barrel curling iron and wrap sections around it at random all over your head. You don’t want any definite curls so flip your head over and run your fingers through your strands. Flip your head back up and check out your big, bouncy hair. Finish off with an anti-frizz serum on your ends only.

Makeup Note:  A deep shade of berry on your lips will bring just the drama you need for this sensational look. Top it off by lining your eyes and swiping on a few coats of mascara for dazzling, thick lashes.

The Pouf To The Rescue

Flaunt a detailed neckline by adding a heightening twist to your regular ponytail. The pouf is perfect for changing your style and adding plenty of glam to it. It’s no wonder it’s such a favourite amongst our gorgeous Bollywood babes.

Start With Your Hair: This look holds well on unwashed hair, but if you have just washed your locks then flip your head over and blow-dry your mane. Next, take the hair from your temples on either side extending to the crown in either a semicircle or a square shape and clip it to separate it from the rest of your hair. Split this section into 2 horizontal sections. Hold the back section straight up, spray the roots with a volumizing spray like L’Oreal Paris Volume Root Lifting Spray and begin teasing it in an up-and-down motion with your comb. Let it dry before laying the section back on your crown. Repeat the same on the front section. Use the end of your comb to make sure your pouf is rounded, push it up gently with your fingers at the back, and pin it firmly against your head with the bobby pins to create a small bump. Gather the rest of your hair up into a ponytail.

Makeup Note: We think classic red lips will compliment your glamorized ponytail perfectly. Use a pencil eyeliner to line your eyes and smudge it with an eye brush for a sultry, smoky eye effect.

Style On Your Side

Nothing To Wear

A loosely tousled, side bun makes for a dazzling look that will definitely land you with unending compliments. Try it with a strappy dress and let a few tendrils loose for a soft, dainty style.

Start With Your Hair: Use a texturizing spray like the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturizing  Spray on damp hair, before blow-drying your mane using your fingers and not a brush for that effortlessly tousled look. Next, gather your up locks on one side and twist into a low bun, secure with bobby pins. Yup, that’s all it takes.

Makeup Note: With your hair pulled back, let your skin glimmer by using a highlighter like Benefit’s Watt’s Up along your brow and cheekbones for an irresistible glow. Finish off with a cream blush and a hot pink pout.
