In a country like India, where society is primarily patriarchal, women are often bound by tradition and customs. Even though things are changing and India is working towards being a liberated country for both men and women, there are still some people in this country who think otherwise.
Nimisha Bhanot, an Indo-Canadian artist, created series of paintings depicting the liberated Indian women in her artwork.
