Just when I thought I have seen it all, I stumbled upon a dog wedding video! While big fat weddings are an important part of Indian culture, pet weddings are a little (a lot) surprising! But Rio and Ria’s parents made it happen.
The two adorable dogs, Rio and Ria got hitched in Navi Mumbai and it was a full-fledged celebration. There were decked-up baraatis, Rio arrived in a car and Ria had a doli for the vidaai! I’m not sure what to make of this so I’ll let you watch the video and decide for yourself:
“Rio and Ria really liked each other. After seeing their love, we decided to mate them first. Then we decided to get them married before mating,” shared Rio’s parent.
Well, I’ve seen a lot of pets dressing up and being a part of family weddings, but this is new!
